Solar technican training courses available to Amazon employees

StrataTech Education Grouphas launched a new Solar Technician course for Amazon hourly employees as part of Amazon’s Career Choice Program. The 10-week Solar Technician course offered at The Refrigeration School (RSI) introduces the fundamentals of solar power science and solar energy for an upfront tuition fee provided by Amazon.

In March 2022, StrataTech was selected as an education partner for Amazon’s Career Choice program to provide Amazon hourly employees access to RSI and Tulsa Welding School’s MIG Welding and HVAC and Electrical Fundamentals courses . Job opportunities for solar installers are growing by 27%, much faster than other jobs, with 2,500 job openings projected each year, according to the Statistics Bureau’s Bureau of Labor.
