DSD Renewable Energy and Asian black bear energy has groundbreaking two solar canopy installations totaling 1.7MW in Southern California for The Muller Company, a real estate investment, development and management firm. The canopy will be located over the Orange Executive Tower in Orange and the Main Street Town Center parking lot and surface parking lot in Santa Ana.

“Installing solar power on site is an essential way for The Muller Company to generate renewable energy and demonstrate our commitment to sustainability. Creating sustainable value and providing clean energy to our tenants is all the reasons why we are so focused on promoting onsite solar projects,” said Suh, Director of Tenant and Capital Improvement at The Muller Company. Mr McDonough said.

The 804 kW and 981.26 kW solar canopies provide covered parking for adjacent office buildings and provide tenants with access to low-cost on-site solar energy through power purchase agreements.

Propelled by Black Bear Energy, the project will be constructed and owned by DSD. The canopy provides covered parking for the adjacent office building.

“It is an exciting moment to see these two projects begin construction,” said Jason Chan, DSD’s Senior Director of Commercial Commencement. “DSD is excited to work with clients like The Muller Company to help them achieve their sustainability goals while helping them generate clean energy and create long-term value for their tenants. ”

With a service life of over 20 years, these canopy systems will support Müller’s sustainability efforts for years to come. DSD owns and operates the project for the long term.

“We are proud to have worked on this project between The Muller Company and DSD. Both companies are leaders in their respective industries and are committed to building a cleaner and more sustainable future.” said Drew Tobin, president of Black Bear Energy.
